COURSES OFFERED

FIRE

All of our fire courses meet or exceed NFPA standards. Currently, our classes are only eligible for SFFMA certifications. If you are looking for classes that qualify for TCFP certification, check back soon! We are actively applying for TCFP accreditation.

MEDICAL

Our medical courses go beyond just plain old EMS training. Our team includes TX DSHS EMS instructors, AHA Instructors, and soon hope to offer NAEMT courses. At this time, we can only offer AHA courses. Check back soon for more offerings!

SECURITY

At this time, Southeast Texas Emergency Services Academy is not accredited by TX DPS or TCOLE to offer any security courses. Security courses are expected to be offered starting late 2027 or early 2028. Check back for more details.

HAZMAT

 Whether you're brand new to the HazMat field, or an experienced industrial safety professional, we have the class for you! Our HazMat courses meet or exceed OSHA and NFPA standards.

(At this time the only HazMat classes offered are online awareness , operations with mission specific responsibilities, and technician. Check back soon for in-person classes and additional offerings.)

RESCUE

No classes offered at this time. Rescue classes are expected to be available for registration in early 2028.

CHAPLAINCY

Emergency responders (specifically firefighters) have the highest civilian occupation related suicide rates in the United States. Emergency services chaplains have been at the forefront of this epidemic. Our chaplaincy program seeks to train those who wish to serve in this crucial role.

Southeast Texas Emergency Services Academy has a team of Christian emergency responders. Therefore, the chaplaincy program is geared to Christian beliefs and is Bible based.

SAFETY

Safety is the most important aspect of any job. Train with us!  Our team of trained and experienced safety personnel will ensure your employees learn the most up-to-date safety standards. Our safety program is designed to meet OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA requirements.
